Lot consolidation

Thanks again for the upload in brickstore format, unfortunately I can't use it much without some sort of lot consolidation.

As far as I have seen testing it creates duplicate lots and there is no way to consolidate them automatically.

Either an option while uploading or a mass update feature for inventory would help out.

Having a merge tool for your inventory is a great idea also.100% guaranteed to destroy any hope of synchronising with BrickLink if you run it

I have no intention right now of trying to sync stores so all good for me.

Easy to start as I could just delete everything here and "sync up" I would think.

I am hoping if this site will not provide automatic basically instant sync tools (seems like that API thingy would be for that) and that it needs to be a third party thing, those third party people who know what they are doing will share freely with a community spirit. Start an open source project rather than be all secretive.

Otherwise I don't know I have the time and resources to figure it out.

Fair enough. I just want to clarify, I can very easily make the synchronisation automatic, I would love to, but if we did it it would very quickly be cut off.

I just noticed this too while browsing through my inventory. Could a merge tool be created, the fact that it breaks synchronization with bricklink is not really an issue (at least not for me).
