2x2 slope with double concave 3046

Stupid question but are the outside edges smooth and then the concave rough on these bricks - bit confused as usual

All the ones I have seen are smooth outside and textured on the 45 degree sections.

For confusion there is a variant listed on Bricklink with smooth angled sections, but it is not listed as coming in any known sets....
