Shipping Methods - Variable Carrier Name?
When I set up a Shipping Method I am required to pick a Carrier Name.
This works for 99% of my packages but I offer a flat rate shipping with free shipping over a certain value. This allows me to shop around for the cheapest price. In the US, PirateShip is a popular shipping service that allows us to shop between USPS and UPS. Additionally the service has an export shipping service for international shipping which handles the tracking information through them.
With all that said, tracking of an order can be 1 of 3 services and doesn't tie neatly into 1 carrier.
Is there a better way to handle this so the customer can still see the tracking info on the order for carriers other than the one I set up in the shipping method?
