Mold Variations
I'm not sure the Owl is dealing with mold (should be mould, surely?) variations like many of us would expect.
The following caveat seems to suggest that a store might provide a stickered or printed item instead of a regular one. I'm not sure any store would ever do that:
"Some Lego parts are made with slight differences, we do not differentiate these small differences so this part may actually be one of the parts below. Please contact us if you would like a specific variation."

I assumed the setting "my store differentiates between mould versions" referred to things like the 1 x 2 tiles with/without grooves, arches with/without reinforcement, etc.
