Hi everyone. I'm a new seller on Brickowl. When adding inventory manually, there is a box for "public note". Do buyers see this when browsing your store? This is where i have been writing more details on part condition. For example [scratched and yellowing. use for filler].

Yes, buyers would see anything you've written in the public note box.

See this forum topic for more info. Be aware that despite the notes theoretically appearing in multiple places, there's a danger the customer will still not see or pay attention to them. I've had a couple of orders returned or cancelled before despatch due to the customer not seeing my note regarding condition. I think ordering through the Wishlist tool can be problematic.

I always add a picking list and make sure to highlight the acceptable pieces and any notes I may have added, just to cover my back - that way I haven't misrepresented the condition of the parts.

Thanks guys. I checked my inventory settings and found I had the public notes hidden.
