A few newbie questions and request for help.

First, where are the definitions for the conditions? If no list exists, what are the generally accepted definitions?

Second, what guidelines exist for submitting pictures to the catalog? I have quite a few items missing pictures and the time/means to take pictures.

Third, does anyone use the cost field in your inventory or do you keep that information offsite? And, if you know, does it import properly from a Brickstore file? (Mine did not )

Finally, I had the following warnings with my import from a Brickstore file.
* Row 2322: Could not create lot for 3020 with error Item is scheduled for deletion (Color is Bright Light Yellow)
* Row 2430: Could not create lot for 3024 with error Item is scheduled for deletion (Color is Transparent Yellow)
* Row 2875: Could not create lot for 3710 with error Item is scheduled for deletion (Coror is Bright Light Blue)

These are all known colors of the above parts, why the warning and how can I fix my inventory?

Can you confirm all those colors are correct? I will look at making the error message more specific on the import form.

I think I was one off in the brickstore file on the colors: They are all Lego 208 Light Stone Gray, double checked in my inventory and the colors in the OP are in inventory but none in Light Stone Gray.

Ah okay, good, so it sounds like that is working correctly.

With regards to image submissions, on the edit form, on the image tab, there are some guidelines there

With regards to the cost field, could you send your file to the contact link at the bottom of the page, and we can then look into that

Thank you. How do I go about importing my light stone gray parts?

Do you need the whole file (5600+ lots) or just a few lots?

You can send the whole file if you want, but just a few lots will be fine so I can see the format

Are the parts actually light stone gray? That's quite a rare colour, where only a few parts exist. Usually, the items are actually medium stone grey. We use different colour names to BL , you may want to take a look at the colour chart here https://www.brickowl.com/colors

Yes, they are Light Stone Gray. I have a lot of rare "Q elements."

I am getting used to the site and nomenclature used here (thank goodness for Ryan Howerter's color list ) Is there a way to see my inventory by color?

Found how I can view by color, sorry for the hassle.

Ah in that case, if you find the item in the catalog, and go to the relevant color. You can then go to the edit tab, the "other" sub tab, and remove the deletion flag

Is Medium Stone Grey the same as what is known as Light Bluish Grey?

@Lawrence, why are there some colors on that list that the BO color doesn't have a corresponding BL color? Is it because BL calls it the same, or does BL not have that color listed? Also, is there a way I can get a pdf or xlsx download of that list?

There are some colors that we consider a distinct color, but that BL does not. You can usually "print to pdf" using your browser, you may be able to google for help with your specific browser
