Small parcel not reverting back to large letter

Having just done a store item test and adding two lots, the first creating a large letter estimate, the second item pushing delivery up to small parcel.
However deleting the small parcel item, the remaining items in the cart (3 x 2x4 Tiles) continued at the small parcel delivery cost.
The large letter was available to select as an option, but not automatically reverting back to large letter.

Any thoughts on this...suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong or maybe this is normal..?
A customer would probably notice down below they could select large letter , but some may be continuing through to checkout and never see that...instead only the final inflated delivery costs.

That's just how the system works. It will only reassign the shipping if the current shipping method is not available. It won't reasssign the shipping if a cheaper option is available, as customers can manually choose different shippiing options, so the system does not override that.
