will not go into inventory why?

Good morning, "new kid on the block", adding parts to inventory. I have a few that will not go into inventory - states on the right side. Not sure why, plate double bearing dark gray part #2817.

Thats not me, thats another Bricker in Portugal. When I bring up my inventory for 2817 it shows all the colours that I have entered including the Dark Gray, but, The missing Data on the Leftside, states, that the dark gray is not in inventory. Is it because it has never been sold in Canada or North America. Production was in 2000. Throwing ideas out there.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'states on the left side', but I can see it in your inventory

This means a 'Set Inventory', not a 'Store Inventory' (admittedly this could be clearer to avoid confusion). According to both here and BL this part in this color has never appeared in any set (is it likely that a limited number have come direct from LEGO??), so, as Dark Gray is no longer produced, it will forever remain as 'Not in inventory'.

Not much you can do about it I'm afraid!

Thank you, all!!! as long as it can been seen in my inventory, then I am good. Agree with Jay 37 wording should be changed. Newbies will not know the difference between Set inventory and Store Inventory. I am now looking for the set it should belong too. I think it's in one of the Knight's Kingdom sets. All my stuff is old, like me, lol. I enjoy researching! And your help in these Forums are invaluable!

Completed research revisited phyical part and its actually a dark stone Gray, one 2817 in set 8876, and thats the only set it comes in year 2005.

Glad you've found it and worked out the correct color - those grays catch us out all the time
