Free Shipping methods

Hello community,

based on my new contracts with my shipping partners I would like to offer German and EU Costumers free shipping methods in my shop. The free shipping should be automatically calculated if the costumer reaches a specific order vaulue depending on if he is german or foreign costumer (EU country).

How can I make the setting in my shipping methods available? I already have two shipping methods for Germany (two price classes) and two shipping methods for Europ (two price classes) and the shipping fees should get to 0 if the order has the specific combination of destiny country and exeeds the minimum order value for free shipping as I would offer it to the costumers in my general information.

Set maximum order value on your existing shipping methods (say 49.99) and create new shipping methods costing zero, with a minimum order value of 50.00.

Ah okay, I always thought if I set a shipping method with a minimum order value my whole shop would get a minimum order value. then I just duplicate the shipping methods and set the minimum and maximum limits with a cent difference and the plattform will offer the costumer only the shipping method that fits into the actual order they want to palce, right?
