MAXIMUM LOT

Can anyone tell me why there is a LOT maximum of 1000.

buyer was unable to process basket/order with more than 1000 lot. Had to raise second basket/order. Brick Owl probably thought 1000 lot was going to be enough for a maximum.

Ah, that sucks. Probably to help prevent fake orders. Maybe it should be removed (or increased) for buyers with feedback.

I think it's more to do with the system not being able to handle an order with more than 1000 lots.

It also prevents trolls from empting your inventory.

@ErwinNL How could they do that anyway? As far as I know, here on BO, there is no option to place an order without paying. You can place quotes, but that doesn't remove anything from the inventory. So the only way to empty a store's inventory would be to literally pay for it all.

1000 lot is too low. Take one part no and x that by all the colours and then like me might have them in several locations taking up extra lines it doesn't take long to reach 1000 lots

@sawbridgeworth999 In the several years I have sold here, I have only had a handful of orders over 500 lots, and only one that breached 1000 and required two separate orders. I see no problem with the current limit.
