Bricksync running on Linux?

I'm trying to set up Bricksync on Linux (Raspberry Pi doesn't work, now AWS Linux doesn't work due to outdated libssl version) and not having any luck. Does anyone run it on a modern Linux machine, and if so which OS/version?

Getting it running on RPi would be ideal but I understand that requires quite a bit of cross-compiling for different chipsets, so just getting a working copy on an AWS instance would be good.

I don't use Bricksync on Linux myself, but have you had a look at this thread from a few years ago?

Thanks, yeah I saw that. It mentions the same issues I had (outdated OpenSSL) and it doesn't really matter if it is a VPS or physical machine, the problem is the build and the packages it requires. I'm not too confident that any Linux build will work (Pi or not) due to its dependency on an outdated package. I appreciate the link though.

Are you getting outdated libssl on Bricksync or outdated libssl in your linux version? Some servers still run with old linux and you need to use the old file and compile the source code in that machine.
