Can somebody identify this LEGO part?

Hi, Here is a lego part I cannot identify. At least I could not using Google search and Google lens.
I have 2 in red and 2 in black. The pieces are probalby from the period 1985-1995.

Maybe they are fake but the hollow studs show the LEGO logo.

Think it could be this - seems to only come in black and red and the picture on the catalog could be from the other side.

Years of practice Seriously, the beauty of LEGO (most of the time anyway) is the studs. I searched by '1x6 light' (this was a pure guess based on your picture), then filtered by color 'Black' - only 15 results and lo and behold the prism holder was there, available in both black and red. Then searched for 'prism' and they matched your picture too. Seems the round knob attaches to the holes in the back of the brick, so reckoned I'd hit the jackpot!

@Brandish_Jaye thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try some time. I like these sorts of queries as an old fashioned manual search often brings up results including other parts I may not have come across before. This all adds to the personal 'knowledge base'. I fear that a more automated search, using either brickognize or Google Lens, will take away from the stumbling around in the dark aspect, but will concede that when all else fails they no doubt come in handy.
