Wrong order color

Hello there, I recently got a message about an order I sent a little over a week ago. It basically claimed that the brown pieces ordered was reddish brown and when I asked for them to specify which pieces might have been mixed up they responded that all of them were reddish brown. Now frankly I don’t believe this because I don’t have many of those pieces ordered in reddish brown in the first place and those that I have are listed and already found in my home.

What I’m wondering is what I can do in this situation? They are asking for a refund and money to cover shipping the pieces back but I’m not very happy about this considering that they most likely will send me reddish brown pieces if they even send it to begin with and I don’t believe I sent any reddish brown to them in the first place.

Sorry if the post seems a bit “ranty”. Any advice is much appreciated.

Well, they indeed all look Reddish Brown to me. Are you suggesting the photo buyer provided is not of the pieces you sent?

I honestly doubt the buyer did that but it just seems to be brown to me

Even when I compare some of my brown pieces with my reddish brown pieces I still think so

I agree with Pikka, they look like reddish brown to me too. Your photo looks like dark brown and dark red.

And I agree with Mrs Swoop - your photo shows Dark Brown (3 pcs) and Dark Red (2 pcs) only.

I apparently accidentally mistook reddish brown for brown and dark red for reddish brown

So the picture I posted actually portrays reddish brown and dark red

You indeed have some colors mixed up.
Luckily you also have some items that can't be mixed up
Reddish Brown:

Brown:

Dark Red:

Some of these do come in other colors, but not in this range.
So the 47298 you have must be Dark Red, since it doesn't come in Brown or Reddish Brown.
And the head only comes in Reddish Brown, so no chance on mixup there either.
Maybe use these to compare the rest of your items in these colors.
Or, if you have Lego sets that you bought (new) build and never mixed them up, use items from that, they should be verifiable.

But you should first take all your Brown (all variants, incl Dark Brown) and Dark Red out of selling until you are sure you have the right colors.
