Not receiving emails

I am not receiving email when a quote on store comes in, I was just wondering if I was missing something simple and basic,

    I've sometimes had emails go into my Promotions section (on Gmail), so I might get the PayPal message in the Primary section, but the order goes to Promotion. Sometimes a quote will end up there too. Doesn't happen a lot and no idea why Gmail determines this on a seemingly random basis. Usually if I see I have an order or message on my dashboard, but haven't received an email notification, I'll check the Promotions and find it there.

    I just log into BO several times per day, as a quote will always show up instantly as part of the order/msg/quote count for response by your name in the upper right.
