Where Can I Get an Avatar?

I see some members have avatars. I assume this is different than the picture we download here:

since that picture does not appear in the box for me on the right side of the forum screen.

So, where can I upload an avatar on BO?

Because the forum and store sections of the site are more-or-less separate, there are a couple of places to upload images. To upload a picture for the forum, click on your name (it should between "Inbox" and "Mark All Viewed"), and look for the link on the left side.

Nah... I am not so much into cartoons. My avatar is a picture of my youngest daughter and main LEGO helper floating in our pool, and then turned 90 degrees to look like her face is appearing out of a wall of water.
