Brick Owl not charging the right shipping

I have first class shipping set for 0 to 4 oz at $3.90 but I Brick Owl only charged $3.61. Why is that?

Do you have a $3.61 charge anywhere in your shipping methods? If you do, I'd start looking there.

I just put something in my cart from your store and it's showing the $3.61 shipping charge.

Nope, all the zones for 0 - 4 oz is set at $3.90.

It's almost certainly to do with tax. It may show $3.61 for shipping but on the invoice it should include $0.29 as additional tax. The difference is 8% which is too coincidental for it not to be due to one setting or another.

I had the check box about sales tax affecting shipping but shouldn't that add sells tax to the shipping not subtract? And that should only affect states where the sales tax is applied? I unchecked the box and see if that has any effect.

You most likely need to carefully read the large drop down box at the top of the tax profile
