Taking a Short Vacation. Stay Open or Close?

Question to the group. Ill be on vacation for the week of July 4th. Returning Sunday the 10th. Would you close your store for that time or just place a message that says something like "I will ship when I return"? I am leaning towards closing.

100% close!

People don't read!! i've left my store open before with multiple messages all over it saying when orders will be posted. Still get buyers asking why their orders haven't shipped!! NEVER AGAIN!!

I 100% agree with @Alexwilcox ! No one reads the notes you put on your home page.

I also close when I won't be available for a time that exceeds my dispatch times (1-2 days)... for illness, for example.
