Interac e-transfer, will brick owl strip my email from the payment method?

We decided to accept interac e-transfer for our clients in Canada. To send an interac e-transfer the client needs an email address and we already accept our interac e-transfers from another lego selling platform on an email address. We put it in the payment instructions but we just wonder if brick owl will strip it like it appears to do with all email addresses here for some reason.
