Set 1 shipping price, system charge more?

Yesterday I changed my shipping prices. My max for first class was $6.30. This morning I get in and find an order showing a shipping charge of $6.74. Where is the system getting that price?

Unexpected differences in shipping rates are usually because of tax. Seems to be a 7% tax increase - is it shipping to a state that requires you to charge 7% tax?

@Hoddie I have been working with the setting this morning. I changed it a bit, but am goin to be changing it back..... and you are right. It's the sales tax on shipping. I always forget that shipping is taxable in GA. Thanks for looking at it for me.
