External Box Condition
Please give us a way to clearly indicate external box condition, on a 0-10 scale. 0 would be no box, and 10 would be something exceptionally perfect. The various steps would need to be clearly defined, uniform across different stores, and as less subject to judgement as can be achieved. This rating would apply to both NEW and USED sets, to describe the box and not the contents.
LEGO is transitioning into being an investment vehicle. For some it is a short term investment (flippers) and for others longer term (collectors). Both cases are very interested in External Box Condition. Those buying for personal consumption tend to be interested, but not at the level of those engaging in price appreciation. It is part of the evolving world of selling LEGO online.
