Email addresses on Brick Owl

We have a customer who claims his package is lost.

We need to open a claim with the shipping company.

They need his email address to have him fill a form saying he did not receive the package etc...

We asked the buyer for his email address and it's not showing in his message.

Is there any way for a buyer to communicate this information or does that mean that it's impossible for sellers to open claims that require buyer email addresses?
