(1) In your inventory you can add a custom weight for each item.
(2) In your inventory you can put a tick in 'force quote' to allow you to price the postage individually.
(3) You can allow for extra weight when adding your shipping methods. Instead of saying, for example, 100g = £1.20 which is what the Post Office charges, you can say 80g = £1.20, giving you a 20g margin to account for packaging.
Warning! Check your inventory for parts missing weight - there's not many left - however if you sell anything that has no weight - it goes into the order anyway @ 0g
It doesn't go in at 0g, all item types have default weights where it makes a conservative guess. For very bulky parts, it isn't conservative enough though.
