Buyer asks for pictures - ok to send outside of Brick Owl messages?

Hi there,

A couple of times I've had buyers ask me to send them photos of specific pieces from my inventory so they can see what shape they're in before buying them. I can't figure out a way to do that within the Brick Owl message system. Is it possible to do it?

If not possible to do within Brick Owl, if I were to send pictures directly to a buyer from my email, would that break any rules about buying/selling on Brick Owl or open either buyer or seller up for problems should a dispute arise?

Just click on that loooong email address provided by BrickOwl (e.g. [email protected]). It should open your own email client and you'll be able to attach images. Alternatively, you can copy and paste that address. All the messages will remain in the BO message system.

You can also just reply in your email and it will get logged in BO.

It would be awesome if we could attach images to messages, which would work around this, though I vaguely recall at least one image format can be used to transmit viruses, which I assume is why this is not permitted (not to mention the server load processing large images).
