Packaging allowances on shipping calculations

Hi Guys, I'm new to selling on Brickowl and cant seem to find a setting in shipping that adds the packing weight to an order to more accurately calculate the shipping weight.

Is there such an option or do i need to deduct the packing weight from my weight tiers in the shipping pricing section?

Any help greatly received.

    You need to deduct it from your weight tiers as stated in the shipping method edit screen:
    " If you set your shipping by weight band, you should adjust the bands by 10% - 20% to account for packaging."
    And, besides the percentage, I also have some base weight added in to the mix.
    For example, a 16 gram order, would become (+20%) 3.2 grams heavier, but that would not account for the 6 gram envelope.

    But yes, you will have to this in your weight tiers by hand

    Thanks I thought that's what needed to do and have done just that.
