PayPal E-Check

yesterday I received an order which was paid using a paypal echeck.
The Payment Status is showing: Pending and the Pending Reason: echeck
But by accident I pressed "Payment Received". is there any way to change this to payment submitted as I'm still waiting for payment?

    I don't think you can. I would just let your customer know what's happened and that it wont be shipped until you receive the payment. You may also want to contact BO as you'll likely break your shipping deadline.

    I'm guessing (I almost know for sure) that you haven't tried to set the status back.
    I just tried to with an order that was paid by bank (so no automated satus to payment received) and there was no problem in doing that :)

    I wouldn't worry about it - unless the check fails to clear. If the worst happens just cancel the order and it should be fine - BO will attempt to get PayPal to reverse the payment but as it didn't clear in the first place, it'll probably just throw an error and warn you to check the repayment was made.
