Default shipping method?

When a customer adds a product to their cart, in the top right corner it shows their cart total and shipping. When shopping in my store, the shipping is always popping up as Priority mail. I would like for it to show the cheaper option first, and then the customer can upgrade the shipping if they so desire.

I tested this out several times logged out of my account. Is there a reason Priority Mail is being set as a default over First Class?

The shipping method will default to the cheapest available method. Logging out will not clear your cart, the cart remembers the last shipping method. If you want to test this, you could try clearing your cookies and then trying it out.
