Payment problem

Hello.
I've had an order two weeks ago and the payment was submitted as an "e-check" throught Paypal.
We received the information that in 5 to 7 days the money would be available.
That time past and we received an e-mail saying the payment was denied.
Also Brickowl states in the order that the payment was denied.
We've sent the buyer several e-mails with no answer at this moment.
Any advice on how to proceed?

I have an order with e-check too... (hmm) I would just cancel the order at this point.

I had an e-cheque payment recently, the payment came through on the 7th working day so the order was completed.
But if the payment was denied and the buyer won't talk to you I'd cancel the order as it's unpaid.
