Whats Does "Not In Inventory" Mean On Inventory Filter

Wondering what this means, seems to be on the site, and i can view it on my store.

    It means the part is in the catalog but not referenced to any of the sets it is found in.

    When noticed you can make a request to add it to the appropriate set/s inventory.
