I had an order that I refunded a part and I was not seeing the refund on my PayPal. The only amount I am seeing is the original order price. Does it just take awhile to update, or am I doing something wrong?
So long as your BO order screen is showing the refund, I wouldn't worry about it for at least 48 hours (see my comment under the other question). At that point, you may want to reach out to PayPal, that seems unusually long to me.
Just to double check, but do you have the business version or personal PayPal? (Please correct me if I'm wrong Lawrence) but I think the refund is only automatic when you've done the "Premier/Business" connection with a Business PayPal account. When it's the personal one, you still have to go and do a manual PayPal refund.
I have a personal paypal account and whenever I do a refund I get a message on the screen saying that I have to manually refund from the payment source. I don't know if it's different for business paypal accounts.
I learned something today - I had no idea there was a difference between PayPal biz and personal accounts (I chg my personal to biz the day I opened here). This was educational, thank you! :-)
