Hi again, whenever I list an item in my inventory to sell, an automatic price comes up which is usually too high, I know I can change it manually but is there a way I can set it to average price everytime I list an item. Thanks
Do you mean 99.00? This shows up if there is no sales of that item within your specified price parameters. For example, I set my prices as the six monthly average on my store settings (My Store > Settings > Inventory Settings > Default Price), but if I add a piece that has either not sold within the last six months or at all, the price defaults to 99.00. You can change this manually, and I usually take a look at what other stores are charging and base it on that, or if there are no stores here on BO, check pricing info on BL. I'd rather put a realistic price rather than something silly.
I do exactly what Jay37 does (great minds and all). :-) I do prefer to do my prices manually, but you can also use the auto tools Beaverbrick noted to instead charge average one year sales instead, etc. globally.
