You could download your inventory, open in Excel or Notepad, and update from there, then reupload the XML? Clearly a workaround... I'm sure someone smarter than I with APIs could tell you an easier way using Postman or the like.

Thanks @Calibrick I think for my size store it'd be quicker to do it manually.

I was sure I'd read somewhere that you can update the personal note through Manage Inventory but I can't work it out.
