Shipping to Netherlands advice/help

Where are the cities/sort facilities that the items end at before they go to the Netherlands?

My tracking last shows it "Processed through sort facility in Chicago, IL" on Jan 17th and the customer is asking what is going on with it.

Is it in customs then? Illinois sounds like an odd state for it to leave the country at?

    I think I just answered my own question :P

    it says "ISC Chicago IL". I just learned ISC= International Service Center. So I will assume it is in customs then.

    Chicago is an International outbound. It is funny because I have a customer from the Netherlands wondering about his package that left the Chicago outbound on the 17th as well.
