NASA Saturn V / Inventory Question

My understanding is that "NASA Saturn V" set (21309) and its recent reissue (92176) are almost identical. Some of the printed parts appear in both inventories, but some are separate entries. Take for example White Slope 2 x 3 with Decoration (US flag):

https://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-white-slope-2-x-3-curved-with-decoration-78181
Should they be merged into one entry with two IDs or is there a reason why they should stay separate?

  • Inventory data is taken directly from Lego, the original set ended production and then Lego decided to reissue it again, so they had to create new IDs, including the set number, to produce it again.

So Brick Owl system saw a new ID and created a new entry, but you can request the merge of all these decorated parts.
  • OK, thanks! Now, how do I merge two identical items with different IDs? Do I choose one that should remain (e.g. 34963), then edit it by adding another item's ID (78181) and finally suggest deleting the other item?
  • I would go the the newest catalog entry and submit in the Optional note at the bottom the suggestion to merge it with XXXXX.

BTW seems to be taken care off now, so Lawrence might have read this post.
