Messages to Buyers

I sent a buyer a message relating to a quote I had from them. I need to send a further message to the buyer. I can't see a way to email them directly. The quote is no longer listed as outstanding so cannot make contact that way. My original message relating to the quote is in "messages sent" but there doesn't seem to be a way I can continue the message thread. Am I missing something? Thanks

You can go to all quotes to find it, or click on their username on the sent message to contact them.

I'm not able to find the quote within "all quotes" so can't attemt that way. I had originally clicked on the username in "messages sent" but it takes me to my message, where there is no username or reply button within that to respond.

Okay, I've added an extra field on the top of each message to say who the message was sent from and to. If you click on any of the messages to them, you should be able to then click on their username within the message.

Thanks Lawrence. When a quote becomes an order, if there are any messages at quote stage, can you relate those messages to the order page. (As is already setup for orders). I can follow the message thread back to quote stage then?

Not at the moment as they are totally seperate entities, but at a later point I will change the to use the same order numbers so ill sort it out then.
