Buyer not responding

Hi,

I received an order where the buyer selected "Local pickup" as shipping method.
I've sent 2 messages, first was 4 days ago to ask when he wants to pick it up and second was yesterday, saying that he needs to contact me if he chose local pickup by mistake.
He didn't reply on either message.

The order is paid with PayPal and that shipping method shouldn't have been selected automatically according to the settings.
What would be the best way to proceed with this order?

I was thinking of just sending it and be done with it, but I don't want this to become a recurring thing..

  • That is exactly why I don’t do local pickup as there is really nothing to prevent that (I guess the “free” shipping is just to tempting)... Sadly also a lot of buyers never check Email and/or BO after purchasing.
  • For local pickup, I do not have a shipping method. When a buyer contact me about local pickup and we agree on a pickup location, I tell them to "Request a quote" and then I quote for $0.
