Royal Mail prices set to rise again

I cannot beleive that Royal Mail are raising their prices once again (and not by a couple of pence). This is the secind time in 12 months. Absoloutely ridiculous!!! Sorry rant over!

    Yup, the manager of my local post office informed me yesterday. He too expressed surprise at the amount. Also told me that all items to Europe will require customs declaration forms from the 1st January, and I think there's a price rise coming for European mail too. For the life of me I can't think of a reason why ;) :*

    For what's it's worth, in the US our prices went up the 1st of the year, then a "temp" increase in late September, and then the permanent increase is likely effective end of the year of 1/1/21... so it's not just in the UK.

    Not to mention scrapping Saturday deliveries.
