Why is my order stuck in pending?

Anyone ever have a customers order stuck in "pending"? Shows the customer chose Paypal as payment method but order status is pending?

It says paypal standard and I have not received payment through paypal.

I'm guessing that they didn't complete the payment through paypal...

That's the only thing I can imagine too. I've never seen this before.

There is a note about it on the payment method settings form, because of the lack of api for standard accounts, customers can quit the payment and not pay after making the order. This can be prevented if you use Paypal for business accounts.

@admin ok, so what do I do if I get no communication from buyer? Just cancel the order? If I cancel the order, will the inventory go back in stock.

Yes, the cancellation form allows you to return the inventory to stock. There is a link to pay on the customers order confirmation email.
