Can someone explain how to do this please. I have a part from a set which is stickered and I am struggling how to add it to the catalogue. Any advice please>
Yes, go to the "nonstickered" part (main listing, not by color) in the catalog, click Edit, then click Actions - you'll see a button to create a stickered or decorated (preprinted) part. :-)
Find the normal, non-stickered part in the catalog (needs to be the uncolored part) Click the Edit tab. Click the Actions tab. Click the Create Stickered Version button.
Just a further point, on the name, the brick number isn't part of the sticker description. So if it was a 1x2 brick (3004), then 3004 isn't in the description (say as in Bricklink). Do folks think it should or it it better this way. So if I was looking for a stickered 3004 it could search on that or 3004*
There's probably a way to "tag" all stickered 1x2 bricks to appear when you search for 3004, but I'm not sure how to do it; and I'm very sure that not all stickered 1x2 bricks (or any other stickered parts, for that matter) are set up that way in the search system.
As stickered parts are created from a base part, the stickered version inherits attributes from the base part.... so when you search for 3004, it should show you all the stickered & decorated parts too.
I've just tested by searching for a few different part codes and it does bring up all the stickered & decorated parts.
