Color of Bionicle Balls 16.5 mm

Hello,
There exist - as far as I know - only marbled versions of the Bionicle Balls, like these ones:
- https://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-technic-bionicle-ball-16-5-mm-with-marbled-white-15365-54821
Anyhow I do not find the version with the color Marbled Trans Bright Green like it is used in set 7156. (my reference is the other page  ). Here at Brick Owl the ball is listed as a solid color. For sure the Marbled Trans Bright green with the part color trans neon green is difficult, but it exists like you can see in my attached image.

Is the trans bright green version just missing? I would like to get your feedback prior adding a new entry.

Regards,
Oliver.

  • I don't know the answer to your question but I HATE THESE BALLS!!! I just wait until I have a few then throw them on Ebay as a job lot of mixed balls(!) because I hate identifying the colour. It's so subjective and often comes down to a judgement call, which has the potential to cause problems if the buyer's judgement is different to your own.

Hi Bricks-Shop! I have sold that ball before - I listed it under https://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-transparent-neon-green-technic-bionicle-ball-16-5-mm-54821 and had no issue from the customer (the ID number does match the set you note). Another site lists this exact same ball under multiple colors (as in several variations of transparent green), so the confusion isn't just here. ;-)
  • Hello Calibrick and Hoddie,
The color of the balls are really difficult and I do also not expect any issues with buyers if I sell them. Anyhow I always ask myself why one site has a variation and the other one not. Like the 4070 discussion we had a few days ago.
Maybe I will just add a new entry here at Brick Owl - let's decide Lawrence if he'll add it to the catalogue or not.

    Regards,
    Oliver.
  • Both sites have all three types, but they're identified differently. BO seem to stick with the Lego Design IDs whereas 'that other place' has them all on the same ID and adds extra bits. On BO if you search for 54821 it will show you all types and if you search for the item number shown in the set instructions it takes you straight to the one that @Calibrick suggested.
