Most efficient way - sorting and storing

Evening all.

Just wondering what everyone's preferred way to store and sort their inventory? I have been selling for about 6 months now and just have everything sorted by color. I recently received a large order >1000 pieces and its been a bit of a tow sorting and picking it.

What's your preferred method? Post pics of your sotorage as well if you can.

    racco storage units with numbered drawers from 0001 onwards, drawers can be sub-divided to allow more than 1 item to be stored and its easy to move items to another drawer if I get more than a section can hold.
    currently have
    Postcard folder for the stickers and ikea plastic tubs for duplo, galidor, toolo etc.

    Took me about a year to find a system that worked for me.

    Takes me about 30 mins to pick a 100 lot order now.
