filling in missing BLIDs in the BrickOwl catalog

Hi all.

I am fairly new to BrickOwl and wanted to check that I am going through the right process for updating BLids in the brickowl catalog. I'm using BrickSync to sync across.

1) owlresolve in BrickSync
2) Take an example BLID which is unknown to BrickOwl.
3) Find the catalog item in BrickOwl
4) Edit tab
5) ID Numbers
6) select a new ID type dropdown and select BL ID
7) Insert BL ID and press submit for approval

Is this the correct way of doing it? Thank you in advance.

    I'm not familiar with using Bricksync, but the procedure from 3) onwards is the method I've used when manually checking and I've not been told it's the wrong way!

    In step 7 make sure you hit tab or click anywhere before submitting
    After that you have to wait till an admin approves the submission. You don't get notified about it, at some point the item will sync.

    As far as I can tell there are not many missing, only minifigures, take a good look at what is included on BL and BL, and decorated items, from them many are not in the BO catalog

    You can also submit them directly from BrickSync, which I find much quicker. You still have to look up the part on BrickOwl though to get the BOID, but you have all the BLIDs in front of you from your owlresolve list.

    Use the "owlsubmitblid" command
    e.g owlsubmitblid BOID BLID
