Dark Royal Blue?

What is the colour of this 1x4 plate? Batman tile is Dark Blue and other one is regular Blue (just to make difference). I have checked all my other blue parts and none of them are matchin with this plate. Can it be Dark Royal Blue?

Looks like an older piece – ordinary, sun-yellowed blue.

Agree with Pikka, this is an older LEGO pour of blue that has color shifted over time - I run into these frequently.

Hahahaha right But I have searched on google and it really looks like dark royal blue.. I don't know

One more question: on the bottom of the plate: we have ID of the part and what is the other number? I have compared this one with few other standard blue plates-and it is not the same number.

Other number is likely the mold number; there are probably quite a few molds used to produce the same parts and this identifies which mold it was.

I have a dark royal blue 1x4 plate and it's darker but brighter than the regular blue. Always impossible to be certain when looking at an image on a PC screen, but I'm pretty sure that what you have is not dark royal blue.

if the colour is uniform then it may be a batch of "Brittle Blue" I have many of these and they are from a batch of blue that over time darkened and as the name suggests became very brittle.

I generally recycle or give these darkened blues to a friend for play, as the color shift over time is so different from the standard blue. :-)

Yep it's 'Brittle Blue'. I have collected loads of this colour. If the colour is uniform thoughout it's probably not sun damage but more likely Brittle Blue (which is a name given to this distinctive colour within the community - nothing official of course).
