Redundant Navigation Links

Why are there duplicate links on Catalog pages? I understand why there is a distinctive BUY button (Call to Action), but there are two other buttons - namely "View Inventory" and "Comes In" – that already appear as tabs. I noticed that some time ago, but I thought that was just a work in progress. Now I suppose it was done with some intent, but can't understand the reasoning behind it.

I thought "comes in" shows the set the part is included in, and "view inventory" shows the subordinate parts, if its an assembly (like a torso, for example).

He means that this buttons go to the same info that you see if you click the tab menus

I think it's been deliberately done this way because the tabs were often missed, as repeated questions on the forum attest. Some people naturally spot the tabs, others are more used to seeing buttons I guess, and this serves both audiences. I'm pretty sure the buttons are relatively new.

Ahhhh I get it now, sorry I didn't follow Pikka! :-) I do agree, it's pretty redundant - my guess from a UX (user experience)/UI (user interface) perspective, designer is trying to appeal to audiences that may not notice the tabs and prefer buttons, yet still retain tabs for those of us that are used to them or prefer them.
