Edit inventory form ordering options

I'm not sure when it changed, but previously, items seemed to be shown in order of item name so that different colors of the same item were shown together (this may have been a setting or by default, not sure) for example all the 1x2 plates, then 1x3 etc.

Now that the options to sort by column name have been added, the Title column sorting is based on color name, so all black parts, then all blue etc. I don't see a way of sorting by item name only. Can this be added? I find it much easier to find parts that way, than by color.

Similarly, when adding new items, previously they would be added to the bottom of the list. This made it easy to find when entering quantities or alternate groupings, however now they slot in to the list based on their color and item name, so then have to have search through to find what was just added.

Forgot to mention, there is now no way of just changing an items color when editing. Now we have to remove the item and the add a new one with the correct color. Can this be looked at too?

I have now split the colour out of the name to help with sorting. New items should automatically appear at the bottom of the list as long as you are sorting by name. Do let me know if that is not the case.

Screenshot as requested. The most recent addition was second in the list (Darth Vader Headgear Bead). Its adding them in alphabetical order, which is how its sorted, but this can be difficult to find the newly added item to enter qty or alt link number especially when the inventory list is large. In the past items were added to the bottom of the list in the order they were added.

Not a big problem in the grand scheme of things and if its working as intended then that's fine.

Thinking out loud now, but if its not possible to have them at the bottom of the list, would it be possble to have a way of entering quantities and alt links on the pop up color picker?

Ah I see, I'll have to have a think about how best to handle that. In an inventory with new and old parts, new parts are at the bottom, but the new parts are sorted A-Z rather than when you added them.
