Dark grey or dark stone grey

Hi
Im new to lego reselling, but have sent the wrong colour pieces to customer. However, the stock photo colours on site still dont look clear to me. Look at pic and confirm which colour is which from photo please?

Thank you

Dark Grey is warmer in tone (brownish/greenish) and Dark Stone Gray is slightly bluish. So, the inverted slope on your photo is Dark Grey, grille and tile pieces are Dark Stone Grey.
  • Until you get used to the difference, try to part out in natural light. I think we all have trouble with the greys to start with. Also get a UV light to help with the trans neon parts.
  • I think other threads have mentioned that a great way to tell colors apart is to have a little real-brick (or tile or plate) pallette... e.g., have some 1x1 tiles or plates in all the unusual colors to compare too. Pikka nailed it through - Dark Gray has a distinct brownish tone and Dark Stone Gray has a distinct bluish tone.
