Popular Stores question

Hello All, I am wondering if anyone knows what the criteria/deciding factor is for what stores are in the "Popular Stores" section of the website? Is this based on order volume, amount of feedback etc? Thank you :smile:

    This has been discussed before and I believe it's a closely guarded algorithm based on store page views and orders placed. I think it is also lagged so is not a real time thing. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a handicapping system in place, so smaller stores can compete with larger ones. Truth is, no one except admin really knows 😉
