Order cancellation

Hello all. Hopefully someone can help.
I sent a potential Buyer a Quote for shipping, and he paid in full.
A couple of hours later, he decided to cancel the Order.
I wasn't sure of the procedure, not done before, so as I hadn't shipped the Items physically or on Brick Owl, I sent him a full Refund, directly from PayPal not through Brick Owl. When I returned to Brick Owl, the Order was still showing in the Outstanding Orders list. I opened it then clicked on the 'More Actions' button and from the drop-down menu, clicked on Cancel. It then displayed a red button with 'Return To Order' on it. Stopped at that point, wasn't sure what to do next.

  • The 'Return to Order' button is a way of stopping the cancellation, though in reality the order isn't cancelled until you submit the form on the same page.

    You need to ensure that your items are returned to stock, that you enter a note for the record (which the buyer will see), and that the options at the bottom are as you want. As you've already done the refund manually, you should change the setting that BO should do it for you.
