I want to build a 1:111 scale model of a monument that the base is 51 ft. sq. by 150 ft. in height.
In addition to this "base" the top measures 37 foot (across the apexes, 180 degrees apart, of the octagon shape) by 55 feet high. The scale does not have to be 1:111, but something close to that scale. The scale I am hoping to use would be the same as Lego Saturn V rocket (the 1:111 scale).
How many Lego 2x4 bricks would be needed? If someone could inform me the number of 2x4 bricks I would need for the 51 foot length (scaled) (layer/row). Also the number of those 2x4 bricks I would need for the 150 foot (scaled) height (number of layers). Once I have those numbers I should be able the figure out the octagon top.

51feet (15.45 metres) = 140mm 4.4 bricks long
150feet (45.72 metres) = 411mm 42.81 bricks high

51 feet is 612 inches 1/111 scale is 5.51 inches or 140mm/31.8 = 4.40
You should be able to work it out for yourself with the brick measurements.
