That could be a never ending collection…
Whilst there I saw a "The Stig" keychain I didn't know about either… maybe I'll make a collection of "The Stig's" - altho they'll all look the same! :O
Goals - it's a bit like NY resolutions - i'll never stick to it so it will be "make my store profitable" or at least sell more than I buy, which looking at the lack of offerings from TLG for next year may just be possible!!

The wife is at her full time job but I will answer for her. She loves minifigures, so her goal is probably to purchase all the minifigures she can and see how long it takes for me to tell her to slow down :P

Unfortunately, that means that my near-term goal is to get half a dozen or so 100L bins of bagged partially broken down sets and random pieces parted out and sorted so that I can actually build. I have plenty of LEGO, but I can't find what I have, so I can't build with it. It's bad enough that I've considered ordering the parts I needed rather than looking for them, as it would likely be faster to wait for shipping than to dig through bins and bins. And on that note, back to sorting!
Happy New Year, everyone!
2014: Get my MOC's displayed (and sold). Steady BO Inventory of 8K (diff lots) 125K+ parts....
After that, the long-term plan is to open my own website where I sell parts, sets, and other building supplies (k'Nex stuff, nothing LEGO compatible). The longer-term plan is to grow the business to the point that I need warehouse space with a storefront and free-building areas for kids. By rolling my profits into increasing inventory and storage, I can hopefully continue to grow the business without incurring any debt.
My idea is to offer products and eventually a space for kids to play and learn. LEGO provides the absolute best in terms of interlocking bricks, and of course their Technic line provides a lot of opportunity for learning. But I like some of the other mediums out there as well.
It's so frustrating to build something in the living room and not have a place I can leave my Lego lying around.
