Create New item - error with id

I've tried to create a new item (single part from solar panel boid 239024) and I have used the same id 78267 with item type part for the entry. The response was "An item with this type and design ID already exists".
OK, I have change the id back to "UNKNOWN" like it is shown for a new creation page. But it still shows the same error. Seems the ID is not refreshed for the new submit of the form but save in any cache.
Not a big deal, made a new entry, but maybe it could be fixed at any time.
